TCTSY uses similar yoga forms to those you may have tried in a local class, online, or gym. It differs, however, by shifting the focus from "doing it right" or "being really flexible" to the internal experience of the participant. The power resides within you, as a participant, rather than the yoga facilitator. The facilitator offers options for movement and will guide the class in that way; however, participants are not required to do exactly what the facilitator demonstrates.
At an info session, you will have the opportunity to learn more about Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Tennessee, including opportunities to get involved, common misconceptions and the benefits of mentoring, an open Q&A session, and hear from a current Big.
