Please join us to learn more information on how to better serve our mentees who have been affected by the opioid crisis. The first half of the training will cover general information regarding the opioid epidemic. During the second half, the discussion will be centered on how the Knoxville Police Department sees the effects of opioids in our local area.

RSVP to receive the shoe order form. Shoes for School is an annual event that provides new shoes and school supplies for area children. These back-to-school basics give students stability and boost their self-esteem so that they can successfully start a new year in the classroom. We work with other nonprofits to identify and register children ages 5-12 who need the most assistance. Thank you Knoxville Area Urban League!

This 5-mile tandem canoeing trip on the scenic French Broad River to Cruze Landing will be a real treat! Interesting rock formations, wildlife, and lunch on an island will be enjoyed along the way. Participants must be 7+ years old.

Saturday, October 7th from 10 am to 2 pm. We’ll spend a relaxing afternoon in the open fields of Cades Cove, one of the most beautiful spots in the Smokies. On this outing join butterfly experts from the Great Smoky Mountain Institute at Tremont, to learn about Monarch Butterfly migration and catch and tag butterflies that are migrating through the area.
